Anderson Independent: Veterans Honor Sandifer
The Department of South Carolina American Legion selected Rep. Sandifer as its Legislator of the Year. According to Mr. Palmer, Rep. Sandifer was cited for his unwavering support of the American Legion, its ideals, goals and purpose. Rep. Sandifer, himself a long-standing member of the American Legion, said he will always look for opportunities to work on behalf of veterans – such an important segment of the society whom we can never fully repay for their efforts on our behalf. The South Carolina Department of the American Legion annually recognizes a state legislator in this manner.
