Daily Messenger: State Realty Association Names Sandifer as Legislator of the Year
SENECA – State Rep. Bill Sandifer (R-District 2) was named Legislator of the Year by the South Carolina Association of Realtors.
He received the award during the organization’s annual legislative conference in Columbia.
Sandifer was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1995. District 2 covers portions of Oconee and Pickens counties.
He serves on a number of General Assembly committees including House Ethics and Labor, Commerce and Industry.
Originally from Aiken, Sandifer graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
He has served as president of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, Seneca Chamber of Commerce, Seneca National Bank and Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Sandifer was selected Legislator of the Year for his support of the real estate industry and for supportng home ownership.
