The National Federation of Independent Business will present state Rep. Bill Sandifer with its Guardian of Small Business Award for his strong and consistent support, in the state Legislature, for small business.
The award presentation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seneca City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
Sandifer, a Seneca Republican who represents District 2 in the state house, leads the House Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee.
The award recognizes efforts by legislators to support small business issues. The award will be presented to Representative Sandifer because of his efforts to strengthen the state’s right-to-work law and because he had a 100 percent NFIB/South Carolina voting record in this year’s legislative session.
