State Rep. Bill Sandifer has been selected by U.S. Congressman Gresham Barrett’s gubernatorial campaign to serve as one of its Upstate campaign chairs. In this role, he will help lead the campaign’s grassroots operations in Oconee County.
“I believe that Gresham Barrett would make an excellent governor and I am thrilled to officially be part of his team,” Sandifer said. “Barrett is a true conservative who is not afraid to take a stand on the tough issues. He also has the fresh ideas and energy we need to get South Carolina’s economy back on track and create jobs for our people.”
Congressman Barrett thanked his county co-chairs saying, “I am proud of the team we have put together in these (Upstate) counties. The support of these strong community leaders means a great deal to me personally, and is a valuable asset to our campaign.”
