Sandifer Conducts Constituent Survey

(Oconee, SC) — Rep. Bill Sandifer wants to hear from his community.

To get input on key legislative issues, he is conducting a major constituent survey that covers areas such as education, the economy, taxes, immigration, and the environment.

“With the 2008 legislative session just around the corner in January, we’ll be working on legislation that fights illegal immigration, provides tax cuts for families, reforms education, and expands the economy,” Sandifer says. “I want to listen and understand how my constituents feel about these important issues and others.”

Designed to be an open forum for sharing input and ideas, the survey is comprised of several “multiple choice questions,” along with open ended questions where constituents can give more details about their views. The survey is relatively brief and most people can complete it in five to ten minutes.

“I encourage all Oconee area residents to respond to this survey and I look forward to reading every word they submit,” Sandifer adds. “When I understand where citizens stand on some of the major issues, I can better represent them in Columbia.”

Sandifer’s survey can be accessed online at www.billsandifer.com or to receive a copy in the mail, please call Sandifer’s 24 hour message center at (864) 885-2240.
