Sandifer Endorsed by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham
Rep. Bill Sandifer has picked up another significant endorsement in his bid for re-election to the S.C. House. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who is a resident of Oconee County, has announced his support for Sandifer in next week’s primary.
“Rep. Bill Sandifer has shown great leadership in the South Carolina General Assembly,” Graham said in a statement. “I know he deeply cares about the people of Oconee County, and he has taken strong stands on issues like education, the economy, and tax reform. Bill is very dedicated to public service and will continue to be a strong voice for District 2.”
“It’s a true honor to gain the support of one of Oconee County’s favorite sons, Lindsey Graham,” Sandifer said. “I deeply respect how Sen. Graham has worked to bring fiscal responsibility to the federal government and eliminate the excessive tax burden on American families. While he works on a federal level, I am committed to fighting for these same issues in our beloved state of South Carolina.”
The backing from Sen. Graham is yet another in a string of endorsements Sandifer has received in recent days. He has also picked up endorsements from U.S. Congressman Gresham Barrett, S.C. Citizens for Life, and the National Rifle Association.
