Sandifer Says Immigration Reform Could Help SC Businesses
With the 2008 legislative session around the corner, Rep. Bill Sandifer (R-Oconee) has said he believes immigration reform could come out of the next session and could help all businesses statewide.
“Verify is the key word,” Sandifer recently told the Anderson Independent Mail, “The state can go about immigration reform in a sensitive way and have businesses verify that their workers are residents, particularly when it involves state contracts which will have a big impact on business.”
