Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for the opportunity to continue serving you in the South Carolina House of Representatives. I am truly honored by the trust you have placed in me. I assure you that I will continue to do the very best job I can to make our state an even better place to live and work.

While I am eager to get back to work in Columbia, I realize that the next couple of years will be incredibly challenging as we continue to deal with the budget crisis brought on by the national recession. I pledge to find new ways to reform government.

As I serve, I will remember my campaign promises: I will work to improve education and fight to keep more money in the classroom; I will fight for lower taxes and a streamlined government, which eliminates waste; I will fight for tougher immigration reform so that jobs are provided for our legal citizens; and lastly, I will do everything humanly possible to bring jobs to our state and reduce unemployment.

I commit to you that I will never forget who sent me to Columbia. I will continue to make constituent service my number-one priority. It is, and always will be, more important for me to respond to the needs of the people of Oconee County than anyone else.

I appreciate the huge outpouring of love and support I’ve received in the last few weeks. Thank you to everyone who has stood with me in this endeavor. Your kindnesses have given me the strength and endurance to continue. In particular, I want to thank my family. Without their support and assistance, this would not be possible.

May God richly bless you. As we move forward, I ask for your continued prayers for me and for our beloved state of South Carolina.

Sincerely,

Bill Sandifer
