The Daily Journal: NRA backs Sandifer

SENECA — For his compelling record of protecting individual freedoms, the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Political Victory Fund has endorsed Rep. Bill Sandifer for re-election to the South Carolina House.

Sandifer received an “A+” rating from the NRA, the highest possible rating a candidate can receive.

“Bill Sandifer is genuinely a friend of freedom,” NRA state liaison Anthony Roulette said. “He strongly supports the Second Amendment, which protects law-abiding citizens’ right to bear arms. This position is backed up by his consistent voting record during his 14-year tenure in the S.C. General Assembly. In addition, he strongly supports law enforcement in South Carolina and seeks to preserve the gun-owning rights of hunters and sportsmen across the state.”

“I’m honored and proud to have the support and endorsement of NRA,” Sandifer said. “Like a huge number of people in Oconee County, I strongly support the right to keep and bear arms. I will continue my commitment to defending the Second Amendment and protecting individual liberty on all fronts.”
