The Daily Journal: OMH receives American Hospital Association’s Grass Roots Award
State Rep. Bill Sandifer recently presented Oconee Medical Center President and Chief Operating Officer Jeanne Ward with a House Resolution honoring her as a recipient of the American Hospital Association’s Grass Roots Award. Only one person in each state receives the honor, which is given for effective delivery of the health care industry’s message to elected officials, broadening the community’s support for hospitals and advocating for patients, hospital staff and the hospital.
